Getting started
- Download and run the installer. If your browser blocks the download, open your downloads (Ctrl+J) and choose Keep. JAMiac is new and not yet signed with a paid certificate.
- Click through the one-time Windows warning. If Windows says “Windows protected your PC”, click More info, then Run anyway. You only do this once.
- Follow the setup guide. It opens with JAMiac and takes a minute: pick your input and speakers, and calibrate recording sync. That calibration is what lets JAMiac lock on tight.
- Hit Free jam and play. From then on JAMiac keeps itself up to date. When a new version is ready you'll see it at the top of the window.
You'll need: a Windows PC, your instrument, and headphones or speakers. An audio interface gives the best results; a microphone works too.
